Medicare GLP-1 Bridge coverage for Foundayo and Zepbound starts July 1

Lilly said Medicare coverage for Foundayo and the Zepbound KwikPen for weight management began on July 1, 2026 under the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program, with a $50 monthly cost to patients after prior authorization. Coverage is set to run through December 31, 2027 for eligible new and existing patients. Single-dose Zepbound pens and vials are not covered, so the program's volume effect depends on how many patients clear prior authorization.
