Information, not advice

Finance Desk publishes information and explanations about markets. Nothing here, including answers from the Desk, is investment, legal or tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Markets are risky; decide for yourself or ask a licensed adviser.

Accuracy

Every fact links to the source it came from, and we leave out what we cannot confirm. Even so, data can be late, incomplete or wrong. Venue prices are 24/7 prices from trading venues and are not official exchange prices. Answers written by the Desk are generated by an AI model from our records and can contain mistakes: check the cited sources before relying on them.

Using the site, API and MCP server

You may read the site and use the free Desk quota for your own purposes. Do not scrape it, resell or redistribute its data, or overload it. API and MCP access requires a key and follows the limits of its plan. Source data stays subject to its publishers' terms; the notices they ask for are on the Sources page.

Accounts and payment

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider and can be cancelled at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may change or end the service, with notice where we can.

Liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from its use, including trading losses.
