Uber and NVIDIA plan Level 4 robotaxis in 28 cities by 2028

Uber and NVIDIA said they will deploy a global fleet of Level 4 robotaxis built on NVIDIA DRIVE software, starting in Los Angeles and San Francisco in the first half of 2027. The plan scales to 28 cities across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia by 2028. This is a target, not a launched service, and the release gave no vehicle count.
