What it is
Signal conditioning for optical links, including smart cable modules for near-package optics and linear pluggable optics. Aries 7 covers copper and optical links from centimeters of board trace to over 50 meters of optical cable across multiple racks.↗ source
Why it matters to the stock. Optical interconnects are replacing more copper links in AI data centers. Astera's entry is a bet that its signal conditioning chips will be needed alongside optical modules from partners such as Lumentum.
