Tesla unveils next-generation Roadster at SpaceX Texas test site; Musk targets 2028 production, no price set
Tesla unveiled the long-delayed next-generation Roadster at an event at a SpaceX test site in Texas on October 15. The car comes in Performance, Thrust and Rocket versions (Rocket by invitation), with Tesla citing a top speed above 230 mph and roughly 300 miles of range. Elon Musk said production would begin in 2028, and Tesla has not announced a price; reservations are open.
